I love how this is making me feel better. Thanks you guys. I took June SATs too, and I think I didn't perform as well on the Oct. math but perhaps the curve wont be as harsh (2 wrong: 740) since this test was maybe harder?

Hopefully the general concensus among all test takers (for Oct.) have found this one to be a toughy..

The March SAT was not THAT hard. I mean I took it as the pre-test and got 2380. Every section was normal, but I got 1 wrong in Math because I didn't realize only the edges counted for the number of right angles in the cube.

My May SAT was odd. The Math was very hard (2 wrong/1 omit = 770). The CR was normal difficulty (3 wrong/0 omit = 770), as was the writing.

Saturday's SAT had an abnormally difficult CR despite having easy Sentence Completions. It did this by having horribly confusing passages. Math was normal but a bit weird. Writing was probably normal difficulty too.

Overall, I would say that the March SAT was the easiest overall I have taken so far. May had the hardest Math (only on my version though). October had the hardest CR (probably got like 5-7 wrong--I recently got 4 800s out of 6 practice tests, including 1 with 0 wrong/0 omit).

Flipsta_G,

Why did you take so many SATs? So the 2380 you got didn't count? Even if so, your May scores were excellent.

Do you think the CR curve might not be as lenient as we are hoping it to be? The SC seems to have balanced out the grueling reading passage questions. Is it possible that the CR curve would be nothing out of the ordinary?

I agree that the March SAT was pretty easy. I took it on an off day but when I took it again online, I got above a 2200 easily. But yesterday's critical reading was odd. I didn't have to many problems with the passages but I agree that they were a little ambiguous and complicated. But I already knew some of the passages so that made it easier. (the dialogue one about cecil is from the movie "Room With a View) The writing and math were okay though.

Yea, it is possible, KRabble. The CR was way too easy. I wish it was more balanced (i.e. take away the MLK passage for a normal one and add in a couple harder SCs). I think the curve will be 2 wrong for 800.

Haha, KRabble, that's what I was thinking. I looked at some of the June test threads about curve prediction, everyone said June one was hard at the time, but the curve turned out to be the worse of all, meaning easiest test. So who know what'll happen this time...

I read an article on a newspaper once saying October test scores are normally lower (for the average kids) because everyone that's doing early decision or early action (smart kids) studied a massive amount for the Oct one...

Not to say that to disappoint everyone that's hopping for a lenient curve, because I am too, but ehhh not getting my hopes up to high because after every test everyone says that was the hardest...
