Does anyone know what percentage of the 2014 class will be chosen from the Early Applicants??
I know for some other schools I’m applying to, like the University of Maryland College Park, over 90% of the class is chosen from those applying early. I doubt Boston College would be so extreme, but does anyone know at least a ball park figure?
Thanks!

I know that it is MUCH more competitive because many scholarships are only offered EA and I read that it was between 20% and 25% off of the BC website. Good Luck! I applied EA as well.

From BC’s website:

And just to make it clear for others:

There is ONLY ONE merit scholarship offered by BC: the full-tuition Presidential Scholarship, which is given to the “top 15” incoming freshman. And you do have to apply EA to be eligible for it. All other financial aid from BC is need-based only.

Have they announced or do they how many applied early action? I guess they are still opening mail. There system seems to track it pretty quickly (ie info like ACT, etc.)
Good luck fellow EA candidates.
