# of SATIIs required ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

Now that we have the new SAT, how many SATIIs are required by the elite universities? I'm Particularily interested in UPenn.

Check on the website of the universities, some universities only require two now, some still require three (Penn still requires 3 IIRC)

http://www.compassprep.com/admissions_req_subjects.aspx for a master list of the requirements of the top 100 schools.

PENN hasn't decided yet.

you need to check the web site. you know what, dont apply there cause you dont have sense to use the web site.

Ivies will require 2 most likely. dartmouth says two SAT IIs.

thank you. Myopic, I did "have sense" to check the website, it stated that they would decide shortly, however that message has been there for almost 10 months now, and I thought that something might have been decided without updating that particular page (after all ED applications are almost here).
There's only one more SATII test date before ED applications are sent in, and I will assume that only 2 SATIIs are required.

It appears that Penn is requiring 2 plus either old writing SAT II or new SAT with writing. That is what the admissions reps are saying at regional events.
