<p>thinking about going. i got 6k with that founders scholarship but its a big change from hawaii to new york so not too sure.</p>
<p>May I ask what everyone's GPA and SAT scores were? My son just got word that he was not accepted into the SI Newhouse School of Communications, despite a 3.9 GPA from a college prep school; 1540 SAT score; co-editor of the school newspaper; and recipient of a number of writing awards.</p>
<p>Send an appeal or call the admissions office. Also, check some of the below threads, there are a ton of people from new house with their stats listed.</p>
