<p>on the common app site, it tells me this for a given college:</p>

<p>if i send in more than 2 recommendations, will that be an issue? will they loook at all three or randomly discard one? the reason i ask this is because i have more than 2 outstanding recommendations an di simply cant pick which one to with hold.</p>
<p>don't send more than the schools ask for, if you do then they will randomly choose which ones to read.</p>
<p>If you must send more recs, just send one additional one...but no more, unless you have an amazing talent that was not touched on.</p>
<p>Don't send more than they ask for, unless the third rec brings something new and amazing about you into the light. And unless all three of them are absolutely amazing.</p>
