Off Campus apartment

DD now wants to move off campus.... so need suggestions on apartments that are close to school and safe. Also, not ridiculously expensive... She has 1 friend that is interested in sharing an apartment but is also open to having other roommates too. TIA

Everyone says they want a safe apartment. Every place has a chance of crime it’s more about using your instincts and not putting yourself in danger. I’m a woman that lives alone but I still go out at night if I need food or want to visit a friend but I’m always aware of my surroundings and always park really close to my apartment when I get back. I always let people know where I am going and when I get back. I carry pepper spray, and when collecting bags of stuff i don’t carry so much stuff that i don’t have time to defend myself. I don’t do these things bc I feel unsafe it’s just precautionary bc anything can happen anywhere anytime.
But I digress… there are plenty of places near and around campus. You’ll get a wide range of opinions and prices. Some of the newly renovated ones are the ones to jump on bc they have lower prices bc usually previous apartment managers probably sucked and the new management want to change things around so they knock down prices and have incentives like free cable or wifi so they can build their reputation. I’ll PM you some places I recommend.
