Off Campus Apartments (Grand Marc?)

<p>Hello everyone,</p>

<p>I was just accepted into a PhD program at FSU for the Fall of 2013. So I have been looking for a place to live in Tallahassee. I specifically want an apartment where I could live alone, I could walk to campus, and be in a relatively safe neighborhood. I've been researching apartment complexes online and I read that the Alumni Village is a terrible place to live, but have read mixed reviews on the Grand Marc. Has anyone here lived at the Grand Marc? If so, how was your experience? Also, I would greatly appreciate if anyone could recommend any good apartment complexes that are very close to campus.</p>

<p>I find them to be way overpriced and the reviews are a bit iffy. I almost thought about moving there until I saw the cost, plus they wouldn’t stop bothering me after I called them and inquired about some info.

You can find something nearby or at least near bus routes that are WAY less. Why add to your debt by renting from a place that charges 900+ a month like GrandMarc.</p>
