does anyone have any recs for good off campus apartments? I'm gonna be a transfer next fall and looking for a nice place off campus preferably with a good social life since I don't really know anyone at the school. Price isn't an issue.

mccormicks place
college station
the lodge
williamsburg on wabash

these are all popular apartments, all are on a bus line except williamsburg i think? mccormick’s and college station are social from what i’ve experienced, not sure about the others. i would live in college station if any of them and if i had a car. might be hard to get a lease now though, a lot of people sign leases in the november-ish of the year before they move in but i’m sure there’s a lot still available. also a lot of people go through Prime Campus Housing to find apartments, so they might be about to help. i would look here too, http://www.boilerapartments.com

add to smahanru’s list, Campus Suites.

I had a few friends who lived in Mccormick’s Place during the summer while I lived in PV and I can vouch for the social life there. We went to a few parties at other people’s apartments after meeting them at the pool and all.

If I were you, I’d try to live in Campus Suites. It’s right across from College Station, has it’s own bus to campus, and the interior of the apartment is A LOT better. However, since you don’t know anyone you’d be living with random people.
