off campus housing, alicante&mallorca?

Hello,
Saw a site saying bus transit has stopped service to these complexes. What is the best La Jolla apartment/condo complex for UCSD students? Thank you!

Some complexes near bus routes

Costa Verde
Regents Court
LJ International Gardens
La Regencia
Pines of La Jolla
Regents La Jolla
Verano
Las Flores
Archstone
Nobel Court
La Scala
Villa La Jolla
La Jolla Village Square
Apartments on the Square
Valentia
Renaissance Villas (?)
The Venetian
Canyon Park
Woodlands
La Jolla Tennis Club (?)
Trieste
La Jolla Palms
Villa Vicenza

I think that’s an extensive enough list for you to start on.

Check on Craiglist.com, Uloop.com, and this site: http://offcampushousing.ucsd.edu/winterAdmitHousingFlyer.pdf

I actually checked up a lot of these places… Than came home and read horrible reviews.

^^ Forget the reviews. If you go by reviews you won’t find a place anywhere to rent. Generally the majority of those ‘review’ posters will be the ones with a grudge or sometimes even the competition. Instead, go check out the places yourself and if possible, talk to students who currently live there. Some of those listed by ‘i_lose’ are nice complexes.

From the Via Alicante and Via Mallorca area you can either just walk or ride a bike to campus or walk across to the La Jolla Village shopping center (Nobel by Villa La Jolla Dr.) and catch the UCSD shuttle from there.
