<p>My OOS daughter has advised me that "no-one" lives on campus after freshman year and that she wants to live off campus next year. She is not interested in the private dorms that are practically on campus (Dobi, Castillian etc) and my research so far indicates that off campus housing is generally unfurnished and for year round (12 month leases). </p>

<p>Any good recommendations as to off-campus apartments (within walking distance preferred) is appreciated. If you are aware of any furnished apartments that do not require 12 month leases, that would be ideal. </p>

<p>I have several friends who live in a complex called Park Court Apartments on 41st St. It is certainly not walking distance for the most part. However, there are many advantages:</p>

<p>-it is on the Red River bus route
-it is directly across from HEB (this would be important for me)
-it is gated
-fully furnished
-offer 6 month leases</p>
