Off Campus Housing Options

I'm going to be making a trip down to visit Clemson(as an accepted graduate student) and would like to look at some apartments too. Where are some higher quality apartment complexes around the area? I want someplace that attracts more students/single professionals than families.

I'd like a single studio but can do a double if that means getting a nicer place.

Thanks!

Check out University Village (you can google it). That is where my son wants to live next year. I believe it is mostly all Clemson students that live there.

Do you want to be near campus (walking distance) or are you okay with driving?

I'd rather live near campus but I'm willing to drive if it means get a much nicer place for about the same money.

Check out Advantage Properties and Carolina Real Estate. There are a lot of options further from campus, but the closer you get in the more expensive and limited it gets.

What are some of the nicer off-campus housing options (apartments, condos, townhouses) for an incoming female graduate student with NO CAR? Not a raucous party atmosphere, but nice and safe, yet sociable.

there are plenty of apartment complexes off the CAT bus route that can get you to campus. Immediately next to campus, there is University Ridge, Daniel Square and many smaller apartments, Mitch can probably give you more info on that.

If you are happy taking the bus, there is Tillman Place, Crawford Place, University Village etc…
