Off Campus Housing

<p>My daughter is a freshman this year. She, and several of her friends, would like to be in an off campus apartment or house next year. They would like to be within walking distance of campus as none of them have cars at school. </p>

<p>Questions:</p>

<li><p>When should they start to look? They talked some people who have told them that it is too early right now, but I don't want them to wait too long.</p></li>
<li><p>Are there any WPI offices that help with this? A clearinghouse type affair.</p></li>
<li><p>Any good resources? Any resources to avoid?</p></li>

<p>For question #2, yes WPI does help students find off-campus housing. </p>

<p>When we went on a campus tour this year, our guide said she used this service and it was very helpful.</p>
