Off Campus Housing

<p>I am thinking about applying to Cornell for grad school later....but just a general q about the town itself.</p>

<p>Is there affordable off-campus housing in Ithica that is not so far that one would need a car to get to campus? I mean, a regular apartment that maybe is near a bus line or within a reasonable walking distance to campus?</p>

<p>Also, whats the best wireless carrier in Ithica? :-)</p>

<p>(you know, I almost applied there as a transfer but opted to stay where I was)</p>

<p>When I went up to visit, AT&T didn't work really well. Also, Verizon has some contract with Cornell, but I don't know if that translates into a good connection.</p>

<p>Verizon works best for wireless, the housing right near campus is not as nice, but I know there are nice apartments for reasonable prices nearby. There is a good bus system around the offcampus housing.</p>
