Can anyone offer feedback on apartment complexes such as University Place or Eagles Landing? Is the proximity to campus problematic?

Eagle’s Landing is more isolated than it appears on the map. You need to take their shuttle or drive to grounds. Also, there is a fairly large component of non-student residents so you lose some of the college life experience in my opinion.

I live in Eagles Landing currently, and after the JPA bridge gets fixed later in the Fall it should only be a 5-10 minute shuttle ride to campus. They have shuttles running every half hour until about 4:00PM when it runs every hour. Its really not that bad, and yes while the whole complex is not solely comprised of students, there are a ton of them. It wasn’t me or my roommates first choice but its a decent place. Rent is all inclusive and it comes furnished which is nice. You run into the same people on the shuttle so meeting new people is fairly easy.

Are you an undergrad or grad student? Is one of these complexes closer to campus than the other?

You could look into UForum apartments located on Ivy Road.

University Place may get you to campus like 2 minutes faster so the distance is about the same. Im a fourth year and there are plenty of people my age around, even frat and sorority chicks that did not want to live on Rugby or 14th for whatever reason.
