Off Campus Housing

I am super late on applying for the on campus places I'm interested in at UCF so I was looking for some decent 1 bedroom places to stay until next spring or fall. My budget is around $1000, preferably less like $850, for rent, electric, water, internet etc. I would like decent internet and a safe community. I was looking at Arden Villas but heard service, security, and internet suck. I also heard the Edge was terrible. Please give me some suggestions.

Are you looking for housing for the summer term? If so you can look into apartments on campus. Lake Claire is a good option unless you don’t want any roommates. You would get your own bedroom but share a bath, kitchen, and living area. When my daughter lived off campus, she stayed at Boardwalk which is south of UCF on Alafaya, not far at all. Again, she had her own bedroom and bathroom but shared the rest of the space. After graduating she lived at Victoria Place near Waterford Lakes for a year, very nice but I don’t know what the rent is for a one bedroom. Hope you find a great place! Keep checking with residence life, too, in case something opens up. They are so helpful!

why do you think your super late. A friend of mine called today and they said they still have housing available…Call tomorrow

Are you male or female? I have a (female) room I’m trying to sublease at Knights Circle, which is right across the street from UCF. All of those things are included in the rent and we have 24hr security and wifi. I have one extremely quiet roommate and the rent is $605. A few of the apartment complexes around here are “terrible” but it’s typically due to the types of students they attract, regardless of price. If you’re interested (or anyone else), inbox me!
