Is there any good Off-Campus housing at berkeley which costs around $7000/year???
Any help would be appreciated.Thank you!

$7000 per year?? You’d need like 5 roommates to pull that off if you want a “nice” place and then it won’t be big enough for that many people, if it’s big enough for that price then it won’t be nice at all. Housing in Berkeley is brutal, you either have to settle for too expensive, too far away, or too run down.

$7000/year? Almost…

My daughter pays $650/month + utilities sharing with 3 roommates in a nice 2 BR 2 full bath two-and-one-half story townhouse with one private parking space on the north side of campus.

I found this web site very helpful in searching for apartments: padmapper.com

You might find the best time to search for apartments is near the end of the semester(s) when students are ending their leases.

Thank you ObieAlum.

BSC Coops are $6,636 for room and board this academic year.

But waiting lists are long, especially if you want a space in one of the nicer houses.

Thank you ucbalumnus ! I think it is a good place.
