<p>What would be the best place to rent or sublet a furnished apartment? A friend's daughter is going to be doing an internship in the Westwood area and needs a place for Jan-March. She'll have a car, but probably doesn't want very long commutes. Safe, clean and affordable would be important.</p>

most of the student type apts are on galey ave/in that area;
there used to also be a house on hilgard near sorority row that rented rooms by the quarter, sorry I don’t know the name, might be under reconstruction</p>
<p>Use craigslist or dailybruin to find empty spot</p>
<p>craigslist is your best bet. some students go abroad so they will be looking for a sublet</p>
