Off-campus Interview Questions?

So I've noticed this from past interviews... I'm pretty good at answering questions, from the easiest to the strangest... but the majority of the conversations, especially one school, seemed to be about any questions I had.
One interview (skype) was honestly two generic questions about me... academic goals, and extra-curricular activities. After about 7 minutes of this, I was asked if I had any questions. So I asked a few, and then I couldn't think of any more questions, so our conversation ended after about a >10 min interview.

I would love to make a better, longer-lasting impression at these interviews, so I was wondering what sort of questions I should ask. All the questions I had before these interviews were either answered here :) or on their website. So, what interesting questions keep a conversation going? Tips please :) thanks!

I think the best question is why the interviewer chose __________ school. Whenever I ask people that question they always have a fun time explaining how they ended up at whichever school and you get to really see why they like it so much. Also, imagine you’re talking with your friend and not an AO. That worked for me in my interviews (I hope.) At my NMH interview we had a lot of time to talk so we ended up talking about books and our favorite men from movies and books! Since all of my interviews have been off-campus, the general interview time is 30 minutes so there isn’t too much time to discuss which could be beneficial if there isn’t much to say. Just make it clear what your passion is and really find out how this school incorporates your passion :)
