Off Campus Job & Transportation Matters

First of all, I really need to know how much exactly are parking permits, because that might solve my problems entirely if they don't cost too much...

OK. I currently live in San Diego and will be living on campus in fall. I have a job right now in the Mission Bay area, and I'm just wondering how public transportation works up there, and if its free for UCSD students... like shuttles or buses or anything. I live in South County so I dont really know this stuff. JW, because otherwise I'm gonna leave my job now and try and get one on campus. It pays pretty well, with flexible hours, but I'm really undecided on this. Any suggestions?

the price for parking permits and the bus routes are both on the website...

Parking costs $61 a month. And certain buses are free, and there are some shuttles, though they don't go too far from campus except for the hillcrest shuttle.

The parking website can answer all your Qs.

thats probably too much money for those parking permit things... i'm starting to think i should ditch Sea World and get a job on campus.

thanks for the replies guys
