ok so i plan to park off campus somewhere, either La Jolla Village Shores or Nobel/Regents and get a shuttle, etc.
The thing is where is a good spot to park on Tues/Thursdays. Because on those days my classes start at about 11:00 AM and i heard that the best parking is well before 7:30 AM [thank god my classes MWF are at 8:00 AM]

Also, is it really difficult to find parking off campus at 10:00ish?

@Artic I hear that Glider Port has a sign that says No parking after 8 PM or else they will tow
hmm not a bad idea though, my classes do end at 6 and i wont be spending time afterwards… cool thanks!

Personally I’ve never had a problem parking in the Ralph’s parking lot, even though everyone discourages it. However last quarter I got there when the parking lot was basically empty and the security guys could easily spot me walking to the bus stop with my backpack, so I started parking underground just to be safe.

The one time I tried parking in the CVS/Whole Foods parking lot, though, I saw the parking enforcement guy writing down plates sooo I would recommend avoiding that side.

I walked to this bus stop. The 202 and UCSD’s Nobel shuttle both stop there, which was convenient because I would just wait for the bus which dropped me off closer to my first class.

well i checked out the parking spots today… im not 100% sure about parking in the shopping lots as i did see some security people walking around. How crowded does Gilman get around 9:30ish?
im thinking about parking somewhere near the La Jolla Village Square or Regents Rd or something on Tues/Thursdays, and leave Gilman for the other days… Im kinda worried mainly about Thursdays and Tuesdays as my classes start later on…

Ack sooo nervous about first day of classess… grr

Also, quick question for GliderPort–
the parking is in the dirt area right at the end of the lane?
