off campus

Dgm, I appreciate the apology and I’m sorry if it seemed like I was snapping on you - I just have had a lot of experiences lately where I feel like I have tried to give my honest advice/information and have been made to feel like it was not coming from a valid source.

The one time I did take the bus was when my car was in the shop, and I had already promised a friend to take her to get her tattoo. The bus luckily ran RIGHT by where the tattoo place was, so that actually was really convenient.

Does the tattoo parlor also have body piercings? If they do…perfect!

Hahaha, I actually don’t think they do  Have to find another place for that one!

There is really no place within walking distance of campus? I mean, like 30 minutes of walk or so.

ana, within a 30 minute walk, you could go to the Village, which is where the Ukrop’s is (a great locally owned grocery store and is run by a UR alum). In that shopping center, there is a Subway, a Chee-Burger Chee-Burger, which is a 50’s style diner known for their burgers, City Limits, which is a locally owned place that’s a bit more upscale and is a popular law school hangout (decently nice bar), a Starbucks, a CVS, a wine store/bar, and a couple of other miscellaneous places. The village is located at the corner of Three Chopt and Patterson, which is at the top of this map, and UR is at the bottom. [UR Campus and the Village](<a href=“Google Maps”>Google Maps)

On the other side of campus, there is a shopping area with a Japanese Steakhouse, another Starbucks, a little upscale deli (really good sandwiches), and a couple of upscale boutique shopping options. [Bird’s eye of the shopping area](<a href=“Bing Maps - Directions, trip planning, traffic cameras & more”>Bing Maps - Directions, trip planning, traffic cameras & more) Here’s the website for one of the boutique’s. http://www.coplons.com/home/</a></p>
