<p>I don't know if any of you have seen the "College *******" book on Tech. I bought one at the Barnes&Noble @GATECH store. It has a lot of information about the school in it that you won't find on other websites. </p>

<p>The book breakdown each area and gives reviews from students that went to Tech. It then grades them on those areas:
Academics B+
Local Atmosphere A-
Safety & Security B+
Computers B
Facilities B
etc.....</p>

<p>I've read it as well..seems that one of their biggest complaints is that the professors care more about their research than teaching.</p>

<p>After reading the comments at studentsreview .com and the surprsingly overall negative synposis in the Fiske 2006 guide, it was interesting to find these rather different views from vault .com. I recently bought the Vault book in a bookstore and did not realize they also have survey information on line.</p>

<p>Just note that "Dates of Attendance" may indicate information from a long time ago.</p>

<p>We were spooked by some comments we found online as well. It seemed like most were posted during 2002. I contacted the school to ask them for reaction to the negative themes and they took my name and number and the site names but never called me back after several calls. Some of the comments seemed a bit over the top and immature but some essence of truth was likely.</p>
