Off the top of your head, pre-college art programs?

<p>Hello all! </p>

<p>I am a sophomore who plans to go into science and applied arts. My art teacher highly recommended pre-college programs for art. I'm too young (there's an age cutoff too) for the three he said are most prestigious, MICA, RISD, and CMU. </p>

<p>Just off the top of your head, what are some other good pre-college art programs? I've done some research, but am sure that I haven't even touched upon some schools. If you attended one that you thought was spectacular, I would greatly appreciate it if you outlined it's strong points. </p>

<p>It is a awhile ago but my daughter did the summer program at Skidmore between her junior and senior year of high school. It was a five week program and had great facilities, lovely campus, dorms and area. She made good friends and had a great experience.</p>
