Who's better for future business graduates in the United States? Obama or McCain? I'm majoring in accounting and was wondering about this. Please leave an explanation to who you pick.

Democrats will say Obama and point to the difference in the number of jobs created under Clinton (23 million) versus how many were created under George W. Bush (4 million). They will also point to Obama's promise to implement a jobs program if elected.

Republicans will say that keeping taxes low on small business, which they say McCain will do, but Democrats like Obama won't do, contributes to the creation of more small businesses which generate economic activitiy and results in a larger GDP and more jobs in the long run.

So, I guess it depends on who you believe has the better plan.

While both are honorable men (not clear by the negative ads, I know), my vote will go to Obama.

Clinton was a moderate democrat and worked with a Republican-majority congress (for 5 yrs of his term). Obama is far left and would be working with a democrat-majority congress. If people liked Clinton's policies they should have voted for Hillary.

Obama's redistribution of wealth plans are a bit scary to anyone who works hard and is successful in life. On the other hand, I view McCain as being pretty inept and out of touch with the American people. He says he would cut government spending, but it's likely that either candidate will increase govt spending further which is not a good thing.

Mitt Romney.

^ Agreed, but it is too late now.

Cya in four years!

Just like any other presidential election, it's honestly probably not going go matter. Each have plans that will make some better off while making others worse off; it just depends where you fall in those categories.

Yup, really does not matter much. Dems are worse in the long run I think due to basic anti-growth bias. But other factors are far more important--new ideas/inventions by businesses etc.
