off waitlist date !!

Hi everyone! I am an international student who got a waitlist decision from UW-Madison at the end of March.

I have heard that some students had received off-waitlist decision on 5 May. But it is 18 May, now, and everyday I check the status in MyUW only to find nothing new happen.

Does anyone knows the date of getting final decision? It is too anxious to wait for such a long time.

email admissions for their answer. Perhaps you can find out where you are on the waitlist - if you are near the top or bottom that could help you. There is no deadline for a waitlist- eg as people get admitted to their favored school off another school’s waitlist they will inform UW, opening up a spot.
