<p>I've looked on the website, and I wasn't able to find a direct answer to this question. I assumed that a contract would mean that you're being offered housing, but I just put in my $50 deposit a few days ago and I was given a contract today. I didn't expect it to be so quick.</p>

<p>So the contract does not guarantee housing. It just means you’ll be considered based on when you first applied, and some students with a contract may still be turned away.</p>

<p>no, anyone who puts down their $50 and accepts their offer of admission to the university is offered a contract. there’s enough housing on campus for everyone who wants it, even if it’s supplemental.</p>

<p>Sorry for hijacking this thread, but approximately how long does it take to be sent a housing contract? I sent the $50 last Thursday, and since I’m currently a freshman I don’t need to accept admission to the University for it to be sent. Is there anything else I need to do other than wait? (Sorry, I’m just paranoid when it comes to these kinds of things.)</p>
