Offers

Any of you hot shots getting offers?? They should be in by now. I'm sure CC folks would be interested in the compensation, etc. This is especially given our economic situation.

Goldman doesn’t end it’s internship program until the end of this week, MS ends the week after.

offers don’t come out till end of the week or so, most people are still working. I think only a couple of firms are done, and a couple of backoffice people at another bunch

My bank doesn’t officially extend till begining of Sept… however most people have a good idea by now of where they stand. This is our last week of work FYI.

^ credit suisse?

My firm - m. consulting - does not extend until the first week of September also.

Yeah at CS

nice, me too

megaman, you got an internship at CS as a soph?

Not really that impressive, it’s just the sophomore rotational program. I did Goldman prop my sophomore year.

i know rising juniors in legit idb (not rotational) at cs

also, where you did sophomore isnt really relevant to this thread except to further establish the huge insecurity problem you seem to have

no one said it was impressive. I don’t really do stuff out of the desire to “impress” people If anything, I never even like mentioning what/where I go/work. Just goes to show, had I kept my mouth shut, these last 3 unrelated posts would have been avoided.

I know JPM s & t summer analysts heard last Friday.

It is Friday evening and you are all out celebrating. So tomorrow afternoon when you finally wake up and check out CC, give us your outcomes. Offer or not, how much, any extras , ie signing bonus, relocation allowance? And if no offer, why not (if you know and care to share)?

Your info could be helping to stimulate the economy! hehe

morris, isn’t your d a S&T intern at JPM/MS/GS? why don’t you start the ball rolling? that’s if you don’t mind, of course

OK. D got an offer at one of the above mentioned. Starting salary above 65,000 w/ a signing/relocation bonus in 5 figures.

She was happy to get offer, obviously. Some, from very top schools did not.

Interesting - I actually think this year is one of the easier years to get FT offers from the SA program just because we are at that inflection point where market activity is starting to pick up and bandwidth is still unchanged from 6 months ago. At least, this is the case at my bank GS/MS. I’m expecting at least 70% of our interns to get FT jobs, given that they’ve met all requirements.

My nephew at GS got a verbal commitment.

Apparently GS hears today…

GS begins notifying interns the week of the 24th.
