Why you think you were accepted/deferred/rejected: Honestly I was surprised! I think my essay was unique - I wrote my commonapp about living in the Dominican Republic, and my long supplemental essay about growing up around roller derby.
Where else you are applying or have already applied: Accepted to Smith, Scripps, Carleton, Tulane + DHS, UT Austin, UT Dallas, University of Minnesota (for biology, very hard to get into), University of Alabama, Southwestern. Waitlisted at Northwestern. 0 Rejections!
General Comments/Advice/Hindsight: I don’t even know how I got in.</p>
