Is anyone else planning to apply for transfer? Columbia was literally my only hope to study computer science. I’m stuck going to college in my hometown and any major here other than chemistry is a joke.

And I got rejected too. I think they’re done.
Yeah, I know, but it has always been a dream of mine to study there. I’m definitely going to apply to other schools as well. The only problem I see is that it’ll hurt my chances to get in as a CS major if I’m going where I’m going now

I also got an email from Columbia, and it said that I have been placed on an extended wait list with only a small group of students. Does anyone know anything about the odds of getting off the extended wait list? Should I be happy about being on this “selective” wait list?
Is there anyone else who did not get either a rejection or an extended waitlist letter?
My son also is on the extended waitlist. Anyone else?
I love how they acknowledge that “this may serve only to prolong your suspense… but we are offering you the option of holding on just a little longer.” They promise a decision by the end of June.
Has anyone receive any updates on the extended waitlist? I called and was told that updates will be given on the 30th.
