Ha where is this magical "Decision Letter" button everyone is talking about... even if it doesn't work, sure would be fun to stare at for a while. Is it in the ApplyYourself system, or duke's main webpage? I can't find it!

admission.duke.edu and then login.. then click check status

Was I supposed to get an access code somewhere? I applied online a while ago using the ApplyYourself system, and never got any "access code"... I have a PIN number, but no access code, what's the deal?

After you sent in your application, Duke sent you a two page verification letter. In this letter is your access code. If you lost it, they cannot help you until later.

Ah, never mind I found it... was getting this number confused with the PIN number. Got a little scared there for a second. Now time to stare at the button for the next 6 days, good luck to you guys (I assume you both applied early as well).

6 days left!

5 days 22 hours.... longest 5 days 22 hours of my life probably

uyyye, this is killlllling me...i'm debating whether its better to be rejected instead of being defered, cuz chances of getting in regular when you didnt get in early are very slim, and it'll only drag it on for another 4 months

no kidding.

Good luck to you all guys. From an Notre Dame hopeful, I truly wish you guys the best.

Thanks a lot project86ist. Good luck to you as well. That is a great school (3 of my uncles and my two sisters went/go there)!!!

For the last 5 days 20 hours, how about we all say what the chances for each of us getting in is, and no feeling bad for yourself either. I think I have a 70% chance, as a longshot. I just want to know eveybody else's opinions for themselves, see how well we feel about ourselves.

I spoke with my guidance counselor today, and he said it's possible the letter will come Saturday for us east-coasters...he used to work at Miami and he said they mailed out the letters at midnight Friday morning, so they basically get to you the next day. Scary stuff!

on the email that was sent out by duke it said that they would be mailed the third week of december.

following cameron's idea i say 35 at best what u guys think

and wouldnt miami be different from duke?

You know, I used to be antsy, nervous, and overly anxious. But, rather, I'm kind of mellow now. I actually wouldn't mind waiting (or might, after a few minutes of pondering, even be satisfied to have a decision prolonged).

I really don't know what's going on with notifications. All I know is that, on Wed. at 6, letters go up. I have no idea when decisions by mail will arrive (fueled by the fact that there are 2 or 3 different dates running around), and I didn't get the email many others received.

Woopie.

(still mellow)

Cameron Crazy- Regarding personal chances, I have no idea about mine. I waver between potential outcomes each and every day. Ultimately, I realize it's a crapshoot. No use trying to predict for me.

i agree with you r2005, bout the part of my chances...some days i think i'm a shoe-in, others i think theres no way i can get in....really wavers on the hour...but considering that article about 40 more pratt ED"s this year and their "unofficial" focus being on the arts and research i think i've got a pretty good shot....

unfortunatley i'm not that mellow, i'm very anxious, i just try and do other stuff to take my mind off it, but as far as waiting...well i sorta wanna find out tomorrow haha

i have two requests 1.: can someone who recieved the email plz post it
and 2 IF POSSIBLE LETS RETIRE THIS THREAD TILL DECISIONS COME OUT CUZ I KNOW ALL IT DOES IS MAKE ME MORE ANTSY CHECKING THIS SITE AND CLICKING THE DECISION BUTTON WITH NO LINK AHAH ANYBODY AGREE? LETS JUST SAY GL HOPE AND BE OPTIMISTIC

There is nothing I can do to take my mind off this date. Everytime I get dressed, I think of Duke due to the majority of my clothes having Duke on them from visiting and buying shirts over the years. Its sick, but I have to deal with it.
