2130
CR - 700
M - 740
W - 690

I really wanted to be over 2200 on the first attempt but I’m really glad I’m not under 2100. I know I can get Math higher (I got 800 Math 2 Subject Test) and I think I can get Writing higher but I don’t really want to sit for another test in the fall (Rising Senior). If I’m aiming for top schools should I test again?

@the89thguy For top schools, yes.

@the89thguy My progression was 2100 --> 2130 —> 2230 so I would say yes.

Looking for opinions on whether to retake in the fall. Got 1960 (630 CR, 680 M, 650 W) for first time. Also have 680 Chem and 700 M2 SAT Subject Tests from last testing period that I am not planning on retaking. I’m striving towards UC schools. Would these SAT scores be adequate if I’m generally a strong student (A’s-B’s in honor/AP) or would they be seen as low compared to my grades?

2370!
800 CR
800 M
770 W (75/10)

So happy to be done! First time = last time

I called CB to check and she says some other department of CB will call me in a few days. I was being so nervous cuz it was my first time calling CB lol

I am quite disheartened…
I only got a 2080 (770 M 680 W (11 E) and 630 CR)
But the thing is, I consistently scored 800s in critical reading on practice tests, it was always my best section. I was having an off day when I took it, I recall, but I never thought it could be this bad. As for writing, it was always my weakest section, but I also consistently got above 700. Math I usually get almost 800s usually due to stupid mistakes and such. I’m not quite sure what to do now. I need at least a 2300. Should I try a prep course (I’ve been working on my own for a while) and should I get a score verification?

Son got 2400. Still can’t believe it.

First time taking SAT. Comparing to PSAT. Went up 110 in math, went down 30 in reading, and went up 40 in writing. Honestly, I didn’t bother studying for CR because I was so sick of those passages. I focused on Math most and studied writing whenever I got sick of Math. I kind of wish I hadn’t ignored CR so much now, but my scores not bad. And a 9 in SA
