Offical Merced Admissions Thread!

<p>The same thing will probably happen this year; I looked at some admission stats for some of the lower-tier UC's, and the admissions are actually getting easier!</p>

<p>Example: For UCSC:</p>

<p>For 2005, 30% of people with a GPA between 3.0 and 3.24 who applied got accepted.</p>

<p>For 2006, that figure was over 65%! </p>

<p>Same story with UCR, UCD, and UCI.</p>

<p>i heard Merced has a nice campus.. since it's pretty new, the dorms shouldn't be too bad right??</p>
