I got exhort along with something else as an answer for a sen. completion. Can anyone verify?

smallest number which has 6, 8, 9 as factors = 72

the number had to be > 1000 i think, so it was 1008

oh damn....oh well good thing I wasn't focusing on MATH this time ... I got an 800 last time...I prolly got a low 700 this time =(. Hopefully all my verbal went well this time around...although that physics passage sucked

WRITING
yes, valikor "began" was the correct answer choice it should have been "begun"

I got exhort, too. I was unsure about that one.

I remember another one with flippant, indignant, and nonchalant as choices. I put nonchalant.

For verbal, I got verve, obdurate, and ____ and aloof (aloof was def in my answer) as a pair. Uhm..yea, I got exhort too.

anyone rmbr the nonchalant/indignant question...I was unsure about that

and well the one with aloof...what was the question?

"For verbal, I got verve, obdurate, and ____ and aloof (aloof was def in my answer) as a pair. Uhm..yea, I got exhort too."

The blank was diffident. I got those 3 too...can anyone confirm that?

VERBAL
Verve was right
Oburate was right
Exhort + Something else was right

I put nonchalant too, it was the only one that made sense. I remember the other part for aloof! It was diffidence, aloof. It was how people though he was detached, sorry I can't remember it verbatim; it was on the last verbal section as well.

QUESTION
oh um for the diffident one...what was the sen completion along the lines of

Greater than 999? Wow, that sucks.

Anyways...

anyone know the answer to the last verbal problem? (Lying) The tone of passage 2 is more _____ than passage 1?

possible answers:
flippant
analytic
judgemental
something else that begins with the letter "s"

I put flippant but it was wrong I think...

PHYSICS

There was a question about how the word "destroyed" was used.. or something like that. The answer I put was something like "it emphasized how uncomfortable the physicists were"

Is that right?

That physics passage was hard.

answer was judgemetnal

and the destroyed thing was something different than what you said

I put analytic, but I really don't know.

For the tone of the Lying passage, I put judgemental. Both were analytical, but the second one was more judgemental of those lying and how it hurts those who are being lied to. For the physics desroyed word question, I did not put that at all; I chose the one that was like, "shows how the assumption(discoveries?) of other phycisists had been disproven". That was a very paraphrased form, but it had the basic idea: the work of previous scientists had been disproven and thus, destroyed.

yeah that's right...spooky alien is right and well the nonchalant thing is right...I forget what I put between indignant and nonchalant...I might have mistaken indignant for insolent or something

but the aloof and diffedent thing...I'm not sure because aloof means like crazy and diffident means like shy so unless I know the sen....I really don't see a connection

it was something like:

Because he was very diffident, they mistakenly assumed he was aloof

That's the answer I chose.

If anyone remembers more of the aloof one, please fill me in, but basically, I recall it being a parallel meaning-question. Aloof was going with detached (not diffident) and diffident was going with another adjective given in the sentence I fail to remember. Sorry that didn't help any, but clearly, I suck at remembering stuff.

EDIT: Just saw valikor's post, thank you!

what were the other choices?

it was aloof the questino was something about how a kid was shy and i got judgemental for the second liar passage.

and for the fertilzer farming pasages, did u put that the second person would agree to less chemicals?
