Offical Nov Sat I - Math Experimental

It was choice D. I think it was 105.

VERBAL
lack of irony or self-consciousness. - house passage
nostaligia and indifference - house passage
see the landscape from inside or something - for modern farmhouses

Sorry, I know this was brought up before, but how many people out there put "D" for the folded-box problem? I'm going to be ****ed if it is actually "A"

I think this might have been a really easy problem, but because I can't think of any other ones, and not many people are remembering writing questions, there was a question like:

With the help of her father, she became one of the best young female golfers.. or something

no error

Yes? I had a total of 3 no-errors in the big writing section, anyone else/.

I think so too

I put A for the folded/unfolded cube problem. And I got no error in that sentence.

MATH (mine was order of E/M/M/V/W/M/V/V/M/W)

One q, there were 25 people in some place, and 8 people left and 5 people came back. the question was what portion of people in the room has not left yet?..

Is the answer 17/22 or 17/25 ???? I was so confused.. the question asked for 'currently' but was not sure.. i put 17/22

Dodam -- I think you're posting on the wrong thread... unless that was on the experimental section in which case it doesn't matter anyways

why wrong? isn't this a math-experimental section? i had 4 math sections

what would 2 wrong and 1 blank be.?

i got no errror for the golfer questino but i put D for teh foldign cube problem.

Depends on the curve, according to the bluebook, the raw score of 51 (your score i assume) is 700-780, cross your finger

Dodam -- ya, that was on the experimental section then.. so it doesn't matter :)

FOODISGOOD: yes -- i'm glad to have some backup on the folding-cube problem :-P

2 wrong 1 blank would probably be like a 740

i believe the unfolded cube with the symbols on it was A

For big writing section: I got 3 no errors in the first part, and only one E in the other part (female golfer)...sounds like I bombed it

Amelia Aerhart first woman to fly 14000 feet up -about three miles- setting a new record for women

No error?

i chose that one

the answer to 2a+1 was D, which I believe was 109. and i sincerely hope the amelia earheart question was no error.....did anyone get some answer to the effect of "leave as is" on the essay draft part of the writing?

yes I think Amelia Aehrhart might have been A, as is.

Some more writing (correction in caps):

Cather portrayed western people, characterizing them AS either blank or blank

No paintings benefited more than THOSE OF PICASSO

The engine ran SMOOTHLY

The arrange marriage, designed by upper class blah blah, IS....

English dude was both a warrior...and A POET....

Family paid more than it HAD ANTICIPATED TO

Shark sea tours GIVE families a good time (something like that; it was a verb subject disagreement)

BTW I think I got this one wrong in the last section, the one about:
African woman took on roles that allowed her to remain something while exploring new cultures?
I said no error

And the very last one about Iraq I didn't know. I said D because it was the only one with parallel structure.

For the Grid - In section...I remember one answer being $2.50 and i gridded it as 2.5! is that wrong if i left the 0 off of the end??
