Offical Nov Sat I - Math Experimental

2.5 was gridded correctly. 0 is implied

no caddyshack.. i did that too. it should be fine. 2.5 = 2.50.

and d3!ty... I also only got one E on the error id part (3 A's on the other portion)... and i think all of my answers line up with the ones you put.

aight, thanks for the clarification on that! (still hopes for 800)

Awesome SoL!

I put D for the folded box one. I am about 85% sure A had a dot on the wrong side.

CADDYSHACK -- 2.5 is the same as 2.50

Does anyone remember the "Cather portrayed western people, characterizing them AS either blank or blank" question?

d3!ty posted that above but I don't think that was the exact question.. i'm thinking I might have gotten that one wrong.. anyone remember what it was?

folded box one was a.

what do you think the curve will look like for CR. do you think it would be possible to get 800 with 2 wrong? or will it be 1 wrong for the 800 this time?

anyways the box problem doesnt count cuz it was in the experimental section.

Nope, box was real. 100% sure it was A.

i thought the 2a + 1 was wicked easy...just plug in the answer choices and see which one has exactly 4 less than 1000

damn, im down to 760 - both times i read the question wrong

oh really. well i put a so haha.

Valikor:

Wilma Carther, in (novel title), portrayed western people, characterizing them AS either...

Not the exact, but that's what it boiled down to. In (novel title), portrayed, characterizing, and D were underlined (D was obviously wrong...was something ridiculous)

What was the answer to that one about the total surface area of all the cubes

Does anyone remember the 2a+1 exactly? I think i got the right answer but want to confirm.

i remember that the first number was 11 and you plugged it into the 2a+1 until you get to the 4th number in the series

and i got 26 for the surface area...but...i got a bunch of diff answers (for the cube, i got D, i am also pretty sure that this was true, b/c A did have a wrong dot...)...and this is experimental, right?

no this wasn't the experimental.

box was a and surface area was 26

k. i got 26 also...not sure about that one though.

oh and what about the one with averages.

sorry haha just realized that "averages" is too vague. it was the one that asked for the sum of the original numbers if avg at first was 15 and after 20 added avg is 19
