I wrote about Mary Shelley's Frankenstein...How studied through science to create ....like an art...a creation of his studies ....then i mentioned da vinci and his attempt to create some type of a flying device which requires the science of physics and through that he created arts and diagrams to present his ideas. I only wrote 1 1/3 a page what will be my potential essay grade? O i also added like a sentence of how movie creators study certain chemical reactions in order to create FX in movies and stuff....etc but the essay was short i did not use up the whole 2 pages.. like i said 1 and 1/3 of a page.....what do u guys think will be my essay....with the information i have given?

maybe there'll be a generous curve this time. hopefully....

barrons isnt bad, it's just hard

Barrons is terrible for SAT IIs... The U.S. history book is full of typos and sucks hardcore.

Essay: DaVinci (historical Reference), Architecture (Perfect blend of "both worlds"), Violin (Egineering involed to make it)

if u wrote it well, then ull get a good score. Im sure 1.3 pages is more than enough in length

I wrote about Brave New world and how the world would become like it if there was no art. Also I wrote about Albert Eeinstein's quote about how science becomes art. Then I wrote about how a screwdriver didn't work well because it wasn't designed to fit my hands. (But it worked well). Then I concluded saying "In conclusion".. ugh. hope they just go for length. (1 and 1/2)

Anyone remember the question with the "suprising large" part? Was it "suprisingly large" or something?

the leet,
I only found Barron's harder for Math IIC. I dont know what they were thinking.

But for physics i found the actual test harder. They started asking freaky environmental questions in the actual test.

For writing, the difficulty was about the same but the question structure was slightly diff so that caught me by surprise

yea, I remember one like that...

The Kaplan book was dead-on for just about everything. I'm going to REALLY study and take them again in December.

ye i think it was surprisingly also

anyone else get 4 straight A's in MC?

not true at all. i'll give you an example. they tell you to never use "like" to describe something and that this will be marked incorrect on the writing exam. what they are saying here is nonsense b/c the SAT II writers dont care about that.

andrew1218 I don't think so, I might have gotten 3 A's in a role though

yes it was supposed to read "surprisingly large". well thats what i put :)

ye i cant reamember 4 As. I remember 3 Es?

O and for the sentence improvement one, there was this question that had the word often before some thing. Was it B or E?? U probqably dont know what im talking about....

what would like 10 wrong on MC and an 8 on the essay be?

bad? ?

lol asim can u get a little more specific? I think I kinda remember that

for the identifying sentence one, is "thoughts on" valid? Someone I talked to today said it had to be "thoughts about" instead, I don't know if this is true.
