Did any other applicants get a congratulatory e-mail from USF's Undergraduate Admissions Office regarding the men's soccer team?? I'm sorry, but I think it is irrelevant and horrible timing for them to send an applicant an e-mail with "Congratulations!" in it, And it has nothing to do with my admission lol I feel as though they are teasing me on purpose :( I'm already on edge about waiting so long and then I get an e-mail like that. -___- excuse my venting lol

LOL I got that and was like ***… but seriously I’ve been waiting for 11 weeks and I was like FINALLY… and then just let down. IDC about the men’s soccer team unless I go there lol

I got that too and ive been waiting since oct 17 for a decision. Maybe if I was at least admitted already, I would care but I dont lol

I’ve been waiting since sept.28! when I got the e-mail I said FINALLY!!! but when I kept reading i just thought they could not be serious! why on earth is the ADMISSION OFFICE telling me about a soccer team lol and then they said congratulations like it’s benefiting me…good for them but I’m still not accepted lol. At least somebody else felt my pain ;)

Not to push it in anyone’s face but I was already accepted and got that email as well and got my hopes up thinking I got the scholarship I was looking into and when I saw that, I thought “what the heck?! no one cares” lol thought I was the only one being “selfish” hoping it was for me.

BTW, Good Luck to everyone on getting in (:

I got that letter too. I’ve already been accepted though, so it didn’t bother me. Surprised me that it showed up in my SPAM mail though… heh.

They send that kind of stuff to anyone that has a myUSF ID, and anyone that applies has to have one, so the system considers them part of USF.

To everyone waiting on decisions: Check your myUSF, that is the very first place they will tell you. And for scholarships, check your financial aid section on OASIS. That’s where I found out all my stuff, before it even came in the mail.
