I'm flying out to Chicago for an office visit with one of the big 4 next week, and I sorta know what to expect, but not really. Do they tend to ask the annoying behavioral questions during interviews? I know it can vary by office, but if you have any suggestions, they are welcom.

Congrats on the office site visit. Should be exciting. Remember Chicago is midwestern practical type people. Wear a dark blue tie.

Yea they like to ask a lot of behaviorals. Don’t listen to Theresa. Accountants are conservative and scared people in general. They tend to focus on trivial things. Wear whatever you want.

just got my full-time offer in tax in NYC with a major Big 4 firm. The Superday’s interviews were much less stressful than the one on campus. I felt like they sincerely wanted to get to know me as a person rather than just address to me a couple of beforehand prepared questions. Be honest and prove your interest, and you will be fine.
