Officer Problem/Sitation..need your help.

Okay, so here is the problem.

For a club which I"m quite dedicted to, i have one of two options.

i can a) Run for Vice President b) Run for something lower like treasurer or secretary (I'm currently secretary.)

BUT. here's the problem. if i run for president, i'm running against someone who im 60% sure that i'd loose again, but i dont know.

if i run for something lower, im garunteed to win.

SO do i run for VP unsure of whether or not ill win, or settle for something lower, with a definite win? (Keep in mind, ill be a junior so if i am just secrtary as a junior I won't really have a chance at president as a ssenior =[.)

bumpbumpbump

Run for ‘suicide counselor.’

great advice…haha

no seriously though, what should i do?

You’re quite dedicated.

Go big or go home, my friend.

You said it yourself.

"BUT. here’s the problem. if i run for president, i’m running against someone who im 60% sure that i’d loose again, but i dont know.

if i run for something lower, im garunteed to win."

Plus, what are you “dedicted to”? You mean dedicated?

There’s no harm in taking risks. Try to use good campaigning strategys (like giving out free cookies and cupcakes would be a good start) which could help boost your chances of winning. But, if you’re really feeling that unconfident, then I see no harm in running for a lower position. :)

I can’t believe you bumped after six minutes.

Run for VP. You know you want to.

you need to go for VP because if you settle for something lower now you always will seriously take some chances if you dont win run again next year no big deal

like the kid im running against is pretty much a known prodigy in the school, so people would most likely vote for him but idkk.

if i lose vp though, im not an officer at all which would really suck because im so dedicated to the club. ugh.

Officer or not, you’re still a part of the club.
