I didnt see one up yet and if there is one I apologize, but, as I'm sure you are all aware, the decisions are up! Come on in and tell us what happened! Many congratulations to those who got accepted, and sincerest apologies to those who did not.

Lets do it all nice and formally too! Make sure to take out the spaces between the brackets or otherwise it looks like your keyboard just threw up everywhere. (I completely didnt copy and paste this from another forum, by the way):

Hi guys!
Congrats to everyone who got in and deepest sympathies to those who did not.
I'm glad this is a forum in which we can all be supportive of one another, regardless of the admissions decisions.

In that vain, I think that it would be best not to list all of our application details here.
We showed our best selves on the apps, no need to further posture or perform.

That said, I can't wait to see you guys on the hill in the fall!!!
Congrats everybody!

I think students just post their statistics in a thread so that others who are interested in the school can see who gets accepted, and what their credentials are. No harm in doing so. I used to look up the past threads when I was interested in Tufts, so I am guessing there will be students who do Early Decision II and Early Decision next year who will be interested.

edit: I totally see what you're saying, abkid. Right off the bat it seemed a little negative, but if it helps people in the future then I agree that it should be posted.

Stats:
SAT: 2090
SAT IIs: Spanish: 720, History: 690
GPA: Like others, my school has odd grading scheme so I don't know how its calculated. I'm probably in the B+ to A range
Rank: We don't rank, but probably in the top 10%
Other stats:
Subjective:
Essays: Tried to focus on global perspective, empathy for others, and the circumstances that made me think in terms of the other two.
Teacher Recs: Didn't see them, but they were from teachers who have seen me grow a great deal.
Counselor Rec: See above
Hook (if any):? Unsure what this means

Other Factors: School Newspaper Editor-in-Chief, lots of leadership opportunities, lots and lots of extracurriculars
General Comments: So pumped to be a jumbo!!

@ nbg, I totally agree. I often check these threads to help me chance myself - I have yet to do a "chance me" thread because I think I can judge myself based on these stats.

However, I do take them with a grain of salt, because of course essays & other subjective factors do matter a lot.
