I actually believe the appeal information does not say anything about letters of recommendation at all. But I figured if I’m appealing I’ll just go for it and see what happens.

@ mar_mar… I did a little looking back in the forums and there is a similar thread to this from last year. It looks like the time frame for appeals was the same and decisions started coming out june 28-29 ish for people. Just fyi.

sakurax and livefree, you are both right… I meant to say May 28th-29thish. So anyway… I think that would be assumption for when they will be released this year… But who knows. I thought I would get in too! LOL.

Lets all hope for the best… but as a backup plan… do you guys know if Cal accepts Senior transfers? I got into Davis so I’m going there if my appeal falls through. Do you guys know if I could then transfer to Cal as a senior? just curious

Nope, I’m not an Anthropology major. I’m Polysci. But your idea about commuting sounds appealing That is a loooong drive. I see that you’re in Albany. I’m over here in San Rafael myself. I work here as well though and I’m actually probably going to get a place in Davis and live there during school and in San Rafael during work (the weekends). But either way we should keep in touch. I used to bartend in Albany actually. Small world. Anyways, I got your AIM name, I’ll hit you up.

anthony, ah… hence the “anth” as in Anthony, not anthropology. :)

yep, hit me up for sure, or pm me and i’ll give you my email address. i’m trying to work it so my classes are tuesdays, wednesdays and thursdays, but nothing on monday or friday. maybe we can commute sometimes, or just be bay area commuting pals. we can start a club. good luck to us for cal though!

Yeah, I’ll hit you up next time I see you on AIM. I’m on quite often. I bartended at some little place called the Albany Bistro. It went out of business. It was an asian fusion joint.

I think we should probably all know by the end of this week. I’m thinking Thursday or Friday from the signs of what happened last year! The suspense is killing me!
