Essay: Way too emotional, but I have a pretty unique life experience full of drama and gore</p>
<p>Extras: High school drop-out, teenage pregnancy, low income, female, lesbian, Hispanic, and full-time parent…don’t even know if any of that matters but I let them know that I’ve overcome a significant amount of hardship to get to where I am today.</p>
<p>Also, the 2 B’s I got were in major-required classes (Chem and Calc III), so I’m hella worried!</p>

Lots of qualified non-white applicants who got into both Cal and UCLA were denied last year for SLO. Don’t stress over it.</p>
