So how many of you plan on taking the AP Chemistry exam in May? I'm sure there are plenty of you out there. Let's use this thread as a discussion for topic matter, and questions that we may have about the test in general.

Just wondering, what part of the curriculum are you guys up to? We're a bit behind, since we are starting equilibrium this week.

Yeah, same here, that’s about where I am. My teacher unfortunately seems inept at being able to teach the material this year, so I feel nervous for this. The coming weeks are very stressful: SAT prep, Science Olympiad, and quarter ends next week. Then we have to worry about AP and Subject tests. I think I may purchase another prep book, I feel under-prepared. This coming from a guy strong in sciences…:(

Might as well join in. We are finishing up calculating enthalpy, entropy, delta G etc… We skipped around A LOT. We have covered chapters in the 20s to chapters in the teens and single digits.

We just finished Liquids and Solids chapter 10 in the zumdahl textbook, but we’ve been jumping around the textbook. We did like chapter 17 a long time ago. This is the first year my teacher is teaching AP chem… sooo hes not prepared at all and tries his best, but he isnt a good teacher. Ah well, gotta study super hard for the test

We JUST took the Acids and Bases test. =]
We’re starting on… aqueous solution equilibrium stuff I believe? Then we’re moving onto Entropy and such. Then it’s just Electrochemistry and Organic Chemistry and we’re finished! Wooot!
I need to review pretty majorly though haha.
