In the past, the West Coast has received scores in the mail first and the East Coast has received them last. If the same holds true this year, CA (and probably OR and WA) should get scores next week and the East Coast should get them 2 weeks from now.

Most of these are required at my school.

I’M SO HAPPY i have 16 credits entering freshman year of college

I CAN’T BELIEVE IT, I got a 5 on US History!!!

I was really, really surprised, because history has always been a struggle for me - I took the AP class not because I was a history rock star but rather because I wanted to learn the material even though I knew it’d be really difficult for me. The entire class has been tough and the practice tests were killer, so I couldn’t believe it when the automated voice reported that I got a 5! I am really surprised!

Other scores:
Calc BC - 5
Chemistry - 5
Music theory - 5

Wow. I am pleased!

Spanish Lit - 5
English Lit - 5
AB Calculus - 4
Physics C: Mechanics - 3

Can’t believe the mechanics grade; I thought a 1 was certain. I’m so happy!

Sorry to be an idiot…but where on earth are you finding these scores? I can’t find mine on the College Board website; any time I look it tells me tp wait until mid-July. It’s especially baffling because I can’t seem to find my old scores from the previous two years either…

@medicatedgenius: Mechanics must have had a pretty big curve, because I also did better than expected; I predicted a 2 but got a 5!

^
same here

You feel like you cheated? It would be in your interest not to admit that, especially since you have 5’s. Take your 5’s and run.

But yes, most AP’s have lenient curves to account for their difficulty.

^ He feels like he WAS cheated, because the AP tests were far easier than he expected.

^post is now removed ? could someone else’ve misinterpreted his post?

for those of you who took AP Calc and scored high- did you expect the high scores? Because I took it and thought I did pretty badly… I want to know what the chances are that I passed.

not too shabby, considering that i wasn’t sober for a majority of the school year & didnt actually learn/go to class that often

Actually, a real AP tester would be drunk all the time and never go to class, and still get all 5s. You miss the mark.

I guess I’ll post my scores, though to most of CC it seems like these really aren’t that great. I’ll be entering my college with 48 credits behind me (some are debatable as to if I can even use them…). :P
