First in the Harvard forum, then HSL, then the chance forum, then the parent forum, now on an AP thread… Lol, silverturtle, I am highly amused and befuddled by your propensity to get into an argument on this website almost every night :).

FIVE FIVE FIVE, lovin’ life here. (Biology, Statistics, and English Language)

I don’t give two shiiits about who is right, only about your misrepresentation of that series of statements.

And of course there are going to be exceptions, but in general, people who score below the average SAT score at Brown are accepted in lower numbers than those who score above.

@xrCalico23

lololololololololololololol AND Brown forum

^I meant that in a nice way though – at least he always took the time to answer people’s questions and being extremely helpful.

I will respond shortly in that Brown chancing thread to statistically disprove that poster.

^there’s no need, really…

it’s not that he’s bnot trying to help. That’s not what I’m saying nor will I EVER say that. I don’t dislike silverturtle. He had an inaccuracy that I tried to correct, which developed into this mess. The only reason this happened is because I’m sick at home and just have been on the computer all day… :(. However, the more and more I see his posts/inaccuracies, the more I’m lead to believe that his posts NOT be disregarded, but rather be confirmed. It is not in my nature to get in arguments online. But, as I said before, there’s no point on making people feel as if their chances at getting into college are diminished because of AP scores.

I have responded. The person described as

is clearly incorrect.

Please cite one inaccuracy and provide the link to my committing this inaccuracy as well as a link to your source for knowing that I am incorrect. More than one would be necessary to prove your statement, but I will be satisfied with just one.

Eh, two reasons: it’s always helpful to correct the misinformation that pervades these boards, and it’s oodles of fun to debate people online. :)

Oh, and jut for a reference to the very very very first things said today, when I said about my opinions of AP, I was talking about my stance on AP being a good program or not. Not the fact it’s used for admissions. I tried to let this end a LONGGGG time ago and somehow it didn’t happen. I simply do not trust your posts silverturtle, which is fine. a 2150 is not subpar. Not for any ivy. APs are not a strong indicator of anything (which I have already explained to you silverturtle, which is my opinion and many others). APs are not considered for admission except for extreme cases.

For you, yeah, I can tell. We, on the other hand, don’t always enjoy defending ourselves, you know — thank you for deriving your entertainment from our suffering .

Please see the Brown chancing thread that you linked to for statistical proof of your being incorrect.

I repeat my request: please cite one inaccuracy and provide the link to my committing this inaccuracy as well as a link to your source for knowing that I am incorrect.

You should not make statements like this

unless you are willing to support them.

I don’t recall having engaged in an argument with you. Am I misrecalling?

Because I was somewhat vague earlier, I must explicate that lapras’ second quote here is an utter fabrication:

Incidentally, however, the statement appears to be correct based on the rough analysis that I posted on the Brown chancing thread. In any case, I would not consider 2250 to be a significant detriment to anyone’s application, nor did I ever say this.

^^xrCalico23 is too lovable and agreeable to argue with.

This thread has become quite comical. :-)

See, what did I say: oodles of fun. :)
