yea odan I dont see how u got rejected
thats BS

thanks...good luck to you by the way

yea thanks man
I'll probably end up going to Villanova since I really liked it there as well

wow odan thats complete BS. I bet you'll end up going to a school even better than BC with those stats. Its their loss... gets the rest of us worried though ha

hehe sorry about that..

rumor has it the rejections were sent out first though...so if you haven't heard by now that seems like a good sign as i see it.

odan, my guess is that (no offense) you were a typical, bright, well-rounded kid. I read a book from a former Duke adcom that said that schools receive a lot of kids like you who don't stand out among their peers.

I am a Hispanic kid from FL with a rec. from a prominent BC alum, good scores, and an unusual choice in major (Theology, a course of studies I am extremely interested in). Obviously my grades killed me but my 1st semester Senior year grades were good, and this was chronicled in an essay. BC is definitely my number one school, so I'm going to send my deposit in to FSU and then just hope for the best from Chestnut Hill.

jm u and me are pretty much identical i mean i had a letter from an alumn and im hispanic with not tremendous grades but good ones and i went to a jesuit school in DC so heres hoping we both get in
I plan to do the same thing deposit at Villanova and wait it out with BC

when do we think acceptances will be mailed?

Some already have acceptances.

amm, GL, hopefully we'll be in Chestnut Hill come September.

Wow now I'm a little worried.

basically the waitlist letter said we have less than a 1/5 chance of getting taken off the waitlist though
no biggie

Odan....you got robbed, bottom line. Like that other post said, maybe u didnt stand out, but qualifications are still qualifications, and schools should actually start sticking to them when making decisions

i'm new to this thread, but the waitlist is for champs.
