General Comments/Congratulations/etc: I was shocked, didn’t expect to get in at all. Plus, I was admitted into a scholar’s program. Life is grand :)

[ b]General Comments/Congratulations/etc:[ /b] Colgate gave me far more love than i could possibly hope for! they mailed me my decision in February even though i was an RD kid, they made me an AMS scholar, they sent me a book, they give me handwritten notes… i can just feel the love. im choosing between vassar an colgate cause my Ivys wiped me (strong academics could not cover my rather weak EC’s i guess…). and with a grant that gives me a free ride, its a no-brainer really…

For the supplement I kind of took a risk and wrote about insignificant stuff like the fact that I can solve the Rubik’s Cube, type with more than 100 wpm and some other hobbies and quirks I have, saying that I will bring all that to Colgate.
