Honors, awards, or recognitions: A lot of awards for Journalism/Newspaper and Art. AP Scholar. Secretary of Poli Sci Club, Secretary of BETA, Graphics Editor for award-winning paper. Also involved in many clubs including Key Club.
Essay (be honest): AMAZING. I was nervous regarding my SAT scores but I really think that the essay was a huge reason as to why I got in…it was about how much of an impact my country (Iran) had on me. I basically poured my heart and soul into that essay, no matter how cheesy that sounds!</p>

<p>Hey all just found out my sister got rejected. We are all devastated as we are all hard core gator fans and we have both been wanting to go to UF since birth. </p>

<p>She has above a 4.0</p>

<p>Does anyone know anything about the appeal process? I am trying to look it up but I cant find anything on the website. Here gpa went up from a 4.0 to a 4.5 and she has a ton of exc. activities. Her only sore spot is her sat scores.</p>

<p>Also she applied summer b as well. I am really surprised because she really have everything she needed to get in. I feel like our admissions process is too random sometimes.</p>
