<p>Hi everyone :) I don't see an official 2010 US History Review thread, so here it is. The exam is the Friday after this one, so we should probably start reviewing terms/concepts.</p>
<p>Each poster starts with a term/concept, and the poster below elaborates on that term/concept before adding a new one.</p>
<p>I'll start with an example.</p>
<p>Monroe Doctrine
1) Date - 1823
2) Who issued - James Monroe
3) Impact - Monroe stated that the Western Hemisphere was not to be further colonized by European powers. Britain's navy added weight to this statement. Later affected by the (Theodore) Roosevelt corollary, which led to involvement in Panama, Nicaragua, ..</p>
<p>New term/concept - Financial Panic of 1837</p>
<p>We can also discuss trends, ask questions, etc.</p>
