Official 2011 AP Results Thread

AP US History - 5
AP Biology - 5
AP Eng Lang - 5
AP Env. Science - 4 (***)
AP Psychology - 5

I’m laughing right now at how ridiculous the curves must have been. On the English lang exam, I didn’t even finish the MC section nor the third essay, most of which I BS’d. I also bombed the AP Psych FRQs given I only studied the day before.

Not complaining though lol.

Sophomore

USH-5
Enviro-5
Human Geo-5

2011
Micro - 4
Macro - 4
Euro - 4
Calc AB - 5
2010
US - 5

My scores really made my day, well aside from free slurpees today :P

LoseYourself, you’re either doing this to attract attention (which you’re blaming OTHER PEOPLE for doing), or you’re just a sad, sad kid.

2011 sophomore
Bio-3 (so close, needed a 4 for credit >.< )
World History-4 (thought I had that a 5 on that one)
2010 freshman
Human Geog-4

Bravo Good Sir!(no gender orientation implied) That was pretty intense.

collegeboard is so inefficient haha. I got two letters in the mail today, duplicates except the second contained two scores from sophomore year that apparently couldn’t fit in the empty space on the first :p

English language- 5
US History- 4

I am angry and sad. I wanted 2 5’s

=) Well I will just share my slice of the cake.
Bio 5
Chem 5
Calc BC 5
Eng Lang 5!!! (I am soooo happy because I got this score even though I am not a native speaker. I was expecting a 3 sooo this made my day yesterday AND today!!)

GJ everyone.

I prefer the latter. Thank you.

@ serenen and the others. What are your incentives for posting your AP scores in this thread?

Calc BC - 5 (AB subscore - 5)
Chemistry - 5
Eng Lang and Comp - 4 (ugh, essays killed me)
APUSH - 4
Spanish Lang - 4 (!!! - was hoping for just a 3)

OK So you want that question answered @LoseYourself (great song btw). Im pretty sure several people answered that question, but you have become so delusional that you have become blind to any explanation other than they want to brag. You don’t really want an answer to that question. You want an argument. I’m sorry THIS IS NOT MONTY PYTHON AND YOU CAN NOT BUY AN ARGUMENT!!! If you were genuinely searching for an answer that question in this forum, you would have to be the biggest ignoramus on the face of the earth or the most oblivious man in the world not to find it. However I’m sure it is not the latter. People post there scores here because they are proud of them and they want to share them because yeah i guess it does feel good to release it. Is it bragging. Many times yes I think it is. Do they want praise? I don’t think they really do because if you really look, not many people with perfect scores get any response from anyone. In a short and simple explanation it feels good to post them somewhere. Just as it feels good for you to cause a ruckus. Just as it feels good for some people, like me, to read all of the amazing scores people post. IDK why it feels good, it just does. So in three words I will sum up this explanation, “It feels good”.

I agree  I only signed up just now to see if there were more options available! It’s weird, but I love to see how proud other people are of their AP scores. In addition to making me feel happy, I also feel more confident, especially since I’m in Florida and haven’t received my scores yet  Just wanted to put that out there.

I believe I already answered that.

I’m inclined to agree with those who are saying you are just looking for an argument. I do it all the time too, haha. But maybe start a separate thread about it? Whether or not you think so, I think the people who have answered agree this is a thread for positivity and general good feelings. No need to be a party pooper.

USH - 5

@LoseYourself, it’s nice when people notice things you do.

@Darkfireguitar, only one person legitimately answered the question. I didn’t read serenen’s post after I saw the huge wall of text, but maybe there was a legitimate answer there as well.

European History-4!!!

HELL YES!!! EVERYONE IN MY CLASS(Sans the extremely smart people) expected 3s and they got 3s. I expected a 3…AND GOT A 4!!! This was my first AP…I am so freakin happy right now!!!

@LoseYourself, I gave you a thorough answer. I read it to myself just now, and it took under 2 mins. Maybe you shouldn’t be arguing about this if you aren’t willing to read a response to what you said? Surprisingly enough, I didn’t just share that with you for my own well-being.

Sparknotes: CC’ers helped me achieve AP scores that I’m proud of. I felt like acknowledging it, so I did. This thread is for positivity/ academic camaraderie and it sucks that you feel the need to be a buzzkill.

edit: hobbithill – I think people are more annoyed with the way you guys are arguing this. I can feel the pride, happiness, and sense of accomplishment in a lot of the people posting here. I myself was happy. If you don’t share the same feelings, fine, but that you continue to argue it? People argue for the hell of it and are a buzzkill just because they can be, and it seems to me that’s what is going on here. I don’t see the harm in being happy for other people’s happiness. What about my initial response was defensive?

There sure is a defensive streak in all the people opposing LoseYourself…with whom I thoroughly agree…
